Disadvanatages of Sex Education Programs

1.        Sex Education may spark the curiosity of an innocent person which would lead him/her to try it or worst, force someone to do it. Learning about sex before being mature enough to handle the importance and consequences can sometimes lead to promiscuity. This is because knowing how to escape the undesirable effects of sex (ie. STD,unwanted pregnancy) would encourage people to keep doing the sexual activity they do.

2.    Often, Sex Education can go against an individuals moral or religious beliefs.

3.    If the teachers are not always trained how to properly teach sexual education courses then they may transgress their own beliefs or morals into the subject matter rather than stick with the facts.

4.   Dis advantages of methods of contraception:
      a. some methods can induce early abortion like Pill, IUD's, depo provera and norplant.
      b. promotes promiscuity
      c. costly and unhealthy
      d. unleashes sex drive
